Help for what situation? It will help for a minor brownout situation but I didn't look too carefully at the specs. I think it only is rated for 5A, which is ok for one tube amp.

I have been using this with my amps for years. I have never experienced a problem with it yet. The house we practice in must have a bad transformer on the line because the voltage is always changing, and this baby does the trick.

I know many would argue that this is not the best solution, but it works.
