R9-Jetter Gain Stage Purple-Fender Vibroverb
(I figured I'd post this over here )
More gain in tap the the Gain Stage Red. The designer told me he was going for a Marshall vibe. Very Cool!

You Andy ...
Man, I've got to get some of your very cool uptown blues licks into my playing ...
they sound soooo goood ...
Now tell me what you feel the difference is between the Jetter Purple & the Red..?
I've been thinking about also getting a Gold, but you make this Purple
sound really tight and musical ... (now I'm confused ..:-(
(of course that's you doing that, not necessarily the pedal ...)

Thanks Joseph!
Uptown...I love that word.
For moi, it's hard to tell where it's coming from. I think I'm going throug a "style change". It's kinda cool. From hanging out here, and my day gig at the UI School of Music, my old stuff is sounding new again.
(I guess this means the end of my 80's metal band Sadd Clownzz....awwww.
Well, **** it. I'm not liking the idea of schlepping around 4x12s.)
Anyhoo, back to business. The Purple is the next step gain wise in the Jetter family. Brad explained it's based on a Marshall tone...and I have to agree. Turn down the gain, and it's very smooth, like the Red. Turn up the gain, and do Voodoo Chile for the encore. It's covers a LOT of bases.
I was at a rehearsal, and dialed in this Clapton/Cream tone, that sounded sooo good. I could not believe what I was hearing! Les Paul was the guitar of choice that day.
So yeah man. You might want to consider a Purple.
But really...everything I've heard from Jetter sounds great!
