Mesa LSS and NOS EL84's

How hot does the Mesa LSS run the power tubes? Is it safe to plug in a quad of NOS EL84's without checking current draw? Which NOS EL84's would you recommend for the LSS?

Idle current shouldn't be an issue. Ask your dealer for a set that's in the low/medium current range.

Some Mesas have the pin 1 issue, others do not.

Good NOS EL84s? JAN Philips, GEs, Mullards. Anything really.
