I talked to Bruce Zinky at length about these amps when I bought the Bruce Whitford Areosmith one off 100 watt Prosonic head.
I have never been thrilled with the stock 2/10 configuration in the combo and he said he was not surprised. Bruce told me he designed the amp as a 1/12 in the combo form. Fender was the one who insisted that the combo be produced as a 2/10 not a 1/12.
Turns out Bruce had ordered about a dozen of the first combos built as a 1/12 so---. I had a friend with a Cabnet shop remove the 2/10 baffle and speaker assembly then make me a 1/12 baffle out of 1/2 inch Birch plywood. I just got a yard of the correct Silver and Black Fender grill cloth shipped to my home today. He is dropping an killer sounding 8 ohm 75 watt 12 out of a Genz Benz G-Flex cab I had loose in it tonight and I should get it back tomorrow.
I am interested in what it will sound like! A buddy of mine had one of the Zinky CS Red Prosonic combos that Bruce did with the 1/12 Vin 30 set up and it sounded amazing I just hope this one sounds as good!
I will get the photos of the whole process up tomorrow when I get it back:AOK.
Hmm anybody need a Prosonic Speaker baffel and Celestian 2/10 set up :stir:AOK

How did this turn out? I'm interested because I'm intending to do exactly the same to mine in the New Year.

Another good mod is to replace the stock Celestions with 10" Eminence Delta Demons. Sound's like a half-stack with this change.
