Well the problem is simply,, the reverb doesnt work.
When I bought the combo a few months back, the reverb worked fine.
I use a pedal for my reverb anyways but just the other day I tried the combos reverb and it doesnt work at all. I made sure all connections that I can easily find are tight including making sure the footswitch was in working order. I dont gig the amp so it sits in a corner of my basement and is really never moved so I dont think any shock or anything like that is the reason.
Im wondering if any of you know of any known problems or simple fixes on the classic 50 reverbs? Everything else on the amp works perfect..
I use a pedal for my reverb so this isnt a major deal,, just hoping it would be a simple fix. Thanks all

The quickest thing to look at is broken wires inside the pan or sub a known good pan to see if that is a fix.

Could be a tube problem. Could be the wires to and from the pan (are they plugged in the right spots?). Could also be the pan. If it's not any of those three, then it is something internal.

The reverb isnt tube driven. Possibly the tank, wires or reverb IC chip is bad. You can visually inspect the tiny wires inside the reverb tank. One better is to use a multimeter and check each side for continuity-from the inside of the RCA jack to the outside. Bob

My mistake. I should have looked at the schematic first.

If you are going to go in and look, also check the transistor Q1 coming right off the reverb control.
