Yes. Depends on which model. Usually rewiring a lot of the amplifier's front end and tone sections.

I will try and get the model number tonight. Is the number on the amp/ tuner itself or the wood cabnet?

On the chassis of the amp.

Actualy I have two, both different and no numbers on them. One has push buttons for the tuner and one has a dial.

Is it an integrated tuner and amplifier then? Any chance of pictures?

Yes tuner/amp on both. I will try to get some pictures.

Integrated tuner/amplifiers are a bit of a pain to convert. Best to gut and start over. The tuner section would all be disconnected anyways in a conversion.
