Anyone have a standard procedure to use when you try to remove a bridge pin while changing strings and the top of the pin breaks off?

Just reach inside and push it out from the other end. I've had this same thing happen, and it worked fine. I'm not sure if all bridges end up with a similar depth, so some improvisation may be in order. I just popped mine out manually.

You may already do this but if not: grab the string and push straight down on it from the top before trying to remove any pin, to allow the ball end of the string to release from the underside (the bridge plate) and to get the twisted part of the string free from the pin hole. This frees most bridge pins up so they come out very easily, often without using any "bridge pin remover" at all.
