Tube amp dies on stage...

I was playing through my fender pro sonic last night and it just died.
Put it on standby and let it sit for a while. No noises, smoke, smell, anything like a component had toasted.
Turn it back on. worked for a minute and slowly died.
Any suggestions?

did you try changing tubes?

The reason tubes are removable is because they are the only thing that commonly fails.

The first place you should look.

Is it tube rectified or solid state?

Tubes first. This happened to my Peavey ultra recently. One minute fine-the next dead. The V1 had cracked and lost vacuum. Too bad it was a Siemens 12AX7! Bob

Replaced tube one. Took care of the problem.
