Our keyboard player hosts a big pig roast in his back yard, and each year it gets to be a bigger deal. This year, our drummer was unavailable so my daughter's teenage boyfriend sat in -- and rocked! This was this past Saturday night.

We all had a lot of fun. You'll see by the attire that it was backyard partying and wankery at its best, but we also all agreed it's one of the tighter gigs we've done in recent months. Probably because there was NO pressure. Just playing for our friends and families.

Enjoy a little Oye Como Va. (I'm on lead guitar, on the left).

(Les Paul, Peavey Valveking, Marshall Guv'nor, and Space Echo...I think a little wah, too)

Sounded great! Tasty solos! That kid is a great drummer. Totally in the pocket and letting the aux percussionist drive the tune. Thanks for posting!

It really does sound great ... that's a Peavy Valveking 'eh ... great gain tone on that baby ...
Now I'm dying to hear the amp's cleans ...

Good job Joel ...

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the comments. The sound suffered from converting it to a small enough file to fit on my website, but the original has pretty good audio, considering it was shot off my daughter's little Nikon digital camera. Wish I could put the original up here.

Either way, thanks for the compliments. It was a fun night.
