what pot value for mini humbucker / single coil

what pot values should I use in a tele with a lollar mini and lollar special (single coil) in the bridge?

Personally, I'd use a 500K (for the mini) and put a 470K resistor across the special (so that the pot "looks like" a 250K to the special)

But since the mini is about 6k, wouldn't a 250k pot work for both?

I'd use a 500K for volume and 250K for tone.

DC resistance...by itself......means nothing.

Since one of them is a humbucker I think I'd go with 500K pots. You could always change them later of course.
