I have had a lot of bass players, both Pro and Part-Time call or write to me and tell me how much they love these 5 V-Pick models.

I play bass (with my fingers) though I would not consider myself by any means a FULL TIME Pro bass player. I really respect the roll it has in music. I should try these AWESOME V-picks on my bass. I bet it would sound awesome!

Hmm...
I hadn't thought about using V-Picks on my bass yet, but now I'm going to give it a try. I've got a Freakishly Large Rounded that may work, but I'm more of a Pointed user myself in all other regards. I have an Epi EB-0 that I pick sometimes with a celluloid rounded-triangle, that is, on the rare occasions when I actually play it!
Man oh man, am I addicted to these V-Picks!

Yeah Litsa, I got a Psycho in my last order. It's a fun pick to use, and it's cool just to hold it too! I Should try that on my bass too.
I was planning that my next order would be for a Shredder, Psycho Shredder and Freakishly Large Pointed. Friday is the next payday!

OK, here is the deal.
When you play bass with a pick, make sure you mute the strings with your right hand. Lightly muting. This is how I play bass with a pick and I have gotten gigs and when they call me they say "I heard you play the other night and I like your tone". I am not a great bass player my any means. However, I am a stickler in saying that the bass is NOT supposed to be the lowest instrument in the band. Every good soundman worth is money has told me this. Using a pick on a bass always gives me the right mix and carity.
Just my 2 cents..........

I just got home from the gym, but tonight (as I practice the guitar) I will pick up my bass and trying it with the psycho V-pick and mute the strings as you say!
Vinni, what V-pick do you use when playing bass!!! Ya know a GOOD Bass player ALWAYS works and is WORTH MILLIONS...

I like the Large Pointed. I do not like pointed picks on guitar, but bass is a different story.

Hey Vinni,
Well, after working on my guitar stuff...I took my bass and tried some of the V-picks.....
I LOVED the Freakishly Pointed and it gave my bass a brighter tone and very powerful attack...
Then I tried the Pschyo pick gave my bass a very WARM TONE and POWERFUL VIBE!!!
I don't play much with picks when playing bass, but WOW, this LARGER V-picks are EXCELLENT for bass....And, let us not forget they are EXCELLENT for GUITAR as well!!!!
Oh, and cvansickle, that is so cool that you are digging those Large V's as much as me. I think you'll LOVE the Freakisly Large Pointed! I love that pick as well.
Also, let me know how you like the V-pick Shredder...I was thinking of ordering one myself...The Pschyo Shredder seems pretty cool as well....

Cool beans girl!!!
Hey Vinni,
I have been using the Big Fatty for bass, and I love how if feels, but it's so big and rounded that the tone I'm getting is somewhere inbetween a typical pick sound and fingerstyle. What I love best is how it simply fuses to your fingers - no more dropped picks, or mid song adjustments. So awesome. I really love the feel, so I finally did what I knew I needed to do - order a boatload of V-picks to find the best for what I need.
Thanks for making such a great product. Belive the hype!!
Cheers,
Edward
