Had this transferred from VHS to DVD, and now finally to MPG for upload to YouTube. My old band did a half hour set on a suburban Chicago cable access show in 1994 in advance of the release of our CD a couple months later. Guitar is an Ibanez RT450, amp is a Marshall Artist 3203, cab is a Jackson 4x12, pedal is a Boss Super Overdrive, blood-stained suit jacket is from a thrift store, hat is from Urban Outfitters and made me look less like Izzy Stradlin and more like a chauffeur. I think the sound is pretty good for a TV studio, actually.
Here's the first tune, "Black Sadie," preceded by an interview segment with the singer:

I thought this was cool stuff for back then. I had a shirt just like the lead singers', I don't know if that is good or bad.

Thanks guys!
Third tune: "Blind," preceded by more chit chat with the singer, and then the drummer chimes in with a funny VH-related comment:

Cool! You guys were a pretty tight band. I've just listened to the 1st tune so far. The singer had that Grunge growl going I hear a little Black Crowes in the song too. Also, I like the show's host's Chicago Land accent("racking").

I don't know if that is good or bad.
I expound on "bad" things during my interview segment that precedes this fourth tune, "Tasty Rhythm Man":

Amazing sound for a TV studio. Most bands get butchered in them.

I listened to the other 3 songs. As I said earlier, tight band. It's funny, but I'd forgotten how much overdrive bands of that era were using. Really thick. At that same time, '93-'94, I was songwriting and home recording with a 4-track cassette, and a lot of my songs from back then have that same grindy/heavy/rawk guitar tone in 'em. Fun times :-).

Great tune. I dig the singer and the guitar tones were good.
