Just wanted to say thanks to Jack for all his suggestions and help when folks ask questions about instruments. I have a k-line tele that has a lollar mini humbucker in the neck and a lollar special tele bridge pickup. Originally, the guitar had 500k pots and a 220k resistor in parallel with the bridge pickup to the volume control. This resulted in a less than stellar bridge pickup performance. I first removed the 220k resistor and it made the bridge sound better. Jack suggested swapping out the tone control pot for a 250k. I just did that yesterday and WHAT A DIFFERENCE. The guitar now has a great tele sound in the lead position and the neck pickup is only slightly brighter and twangier than it was before. Not a bad thing at all in a tele. Plus the middle position sounds great too.

Thanks again Mr. Briggs.
