On a lark I bought an Italia Modulo "Jazz Style" bass. The bass looks pretty cool with a tolex back, lipstick pickups (4 individual pickups) and silver piping. I have to admit I liked the Italian styling. The sound tone is pretty good but a tad soft for my taste. You're not going to get a Marcus sound out of it!

Just want to hear from other players with the Italia basses.

I'm not a huge fan of the styling of the Italia basses- I have heard some that sound really cool and unique- as I'm imagining yours does.

I have to say I really like the four lipstick configuration. That's just a really novel take on p/ups.

Hi, I have a Torino bass and and it sounds really nice. A great complement for my Jazz Bass for a lot of different sounds. http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q251/razzafrazza/MaraBass.jpg
