View Full Version : FX loop

I have recently bought a Orange Tiny Terror with it's companion 2x12 cab.

This head doesn't have an effects loop, and sounds pretty mushy and scattered when using delay. I know it's nothing to do with my pedal board setup, because when I run it through my AC30 (Which has an FX loop) it sounds heavenly. Is there any way I could get an FX loop built into it? Or are there pedals that can mimic an FX loop and will do the trick?

Any help would be MUCH appreciated!

Because the tiny terror is PC based and is very cramped inside,it may not be possible to put an effects loop inside. You would need to take it to a tech and have him take it apart and see.I am inclined to think not.
The amp was crammed into a small space and used a dedicated PC board and is likely not mod-friendly.

Are you placing the delay at the end of your effect chain? Is it a true-bypass effect?

Yeah, I am placing my delays at the end of my chain. And my delay pedals are true bypass.

I'm having a guy look at it tomorrow. I guess the military trained him to work on tube electronics and he's been doing it for the last 30 years. He says that he's worked with A LOT of guitar gear in the past so we'll see what happens!

Thank you guys!
