Speaker swapping

Can I use ordinary test leads to test speakers in a cab? I'd hate to have to solder and de-solder a half-dozen speakers to try and compare them.

Of course you can. Just make sure the contact is good to avoid the problems associated with open-loads on tube power amp's.

Thanks donny. These are the alligator clip test leads, so I'll just make sure they are clipped on good and not jostle the cab at all while they are on.
