So here's a weird one, not sure whether to even post it. But, um, ahem, The Naughty Bits are doing the Doc Severinsen / Paul Shaffer thing for a comedy show at the Improv theater on South 2nd Street on Wednesday night, about 7:30 - 9:30. A couple of tunes, some riffage for bringing on and off the comics, 4 or 5 more tunes, more riffs, and then play until everyone leaves at 9:30.
The Naughty Bits (for those of you who aren't up on your bleeding edge, unknown-old-guy-blues-bands) are hawkeye-in-exile and decay-o-caster on various Chapins through various Swarts or Jukes, plus harp, bass and drums.
And, um, Hooters is sponsoring the show, so there will be orange shorts and tight tee-shirts on display. :o
Hey, it's an easy gig. And we old guys don't have to stay up past our bedtimes to play it!
