great videos...thanks for the post. I first saw Steve play almost 30 years ago at Nickels bar/club in Macon...saw the first Dregs show in L.A. at the Roxy (a VERY memorable show...they opened for Billy Cobham). He just keeps getting better...

He never ceases to amaze with his playing...so much more than technique.

Cool vid, I will have to pass this on to my student as I have been pounding home to him about the importance of alternate picking, he is currently learning "Tumeni Notes" not bad for a kid playing less than a year!

Is Flight of the Osprey(plays over the closing credits of Steve's interview) from the SMB album-in-the-works? That was a pleasant surprise.

Great player, I was fortunate enough to see him with the Dregs many years ago. Amazing live player, great band.
