How do I get my clips on the web?

OK, I'm getting to that point where I might want to put some amp clips out on the board for those folks who are interested. The only thing I know how to do is record the clips to my Roland 2450 and burn to a CD. I don't know how to make them into MP3 files and once they become MP3s I don't know how to get them out on the web for listening. Any step by step advice would be much appreiciated. I do have a computor in my studio, it can burn MP3s from CDs. That might be one way to get the files into a MP3 format, not sure if there is a software package that I could run the output of the 2450 direct into the computer grab the bit stream edit and turn into a MP3 file. I'm open to your thoughts

If u use a PC there are tons of MP3 converters out there. Just do a web search. I have a mac, and use MPegger. I have my own webpage where I host my clips. There are places out there that do free clip hosting (i think). Soundclick, or something like that, is one (i think).

Two words.... Sound Forge. Try a Google search and you'll find it. It's now a Sony product believe it or not................

Checked out sound forge on the web. Looks like it would do what I need. My question is, how involved is it? Can I do basic dub recording and file conversions without a major time soak to get up to speed?

My 14 year old figured out Sound Forge without a manual... It's really, really easy and a great product. It's a must have piece of software..........

I noticed there is a streamline version for about $70 probably the one for me. The 7.0 version $300 + I don't think i need all that capability
