Easiest software ever. $79. Works on most platforms.
Will lend a "tube warmth" , which is adjustable, or give you out-and-out distortion. Either way, you simply dial it in.
Couldn't be simpler. Sounds great. Cheap.

I use it to deliberately futz the audio, not trying to make anything sound "real", like on synths, but I also do like it on snare.
Anyway, I think it sounds good. Try it, for $79 you can't go wrong.

Gotcha. I use Amplitube for that, which does a great job IMO.
