Tyler Mongoose

Any love out there for the Tyler Mongoose? I always hear about the SE's, but rarely ever hear about the Mongoose models.

Flinto on here has a few of them. His spalted maple top one is one of the coolest looking guitars I have seen.

I've played one that our own Brent (from Chicago) owns.
We hooked up at Maken one saturday last April to test drive the Bogner XTC Classic...which I bought. His mongoose is in some kind of black/blue schmear and looks gorgeous! Plays even better, but the tones through the Bog rig were just outstanding! :eek: :dude

the Mongooses are really cool. I have a couple. one with 2HB's another w/ 3P90's. They are hollow, typically mahogany neck and body, though one I have has a maple top. They sound more 335-ish than LP-ish. Actually, my 3P90 one sounds nothing like either of those...maybe a strat meets 335. I dunno. They are awesome guitars though, you can't go wrong with a mongoose.
