Oct. Tour w/Marc Ribot, Jamaaladeen Tacuma

Hey All,

Finally have the confirmed dates for my October tour with Sean Noonan's Brewed by Noon.

The band will consist of myself on guitar, and Sean on Drums, along with Marc Ribot on Guitar, Jamalaadeen Tacuma on Bass, and the great Malian Griot Abdoulaye Diabate on Vocals.

What have you learned from working with Ribot?

dorfmeister- i've learned a lot from ALL the musicians in the band!

One of the amazing things about Ribot is the way he's able to play in so many different styles. He's a sick country player, masterful at blues, and amazing at solo guitar- but what's even more amazing is the way he retains his own style throughout all these other styles.

looks like a real good time - enjoy!
I've done a couple VPRO sessions - they are fun - and if the session is in Amsterdam there is a really amazing music store right near the studio - all kinds of the wildest old string and non-strung instruments you've never seen. See if you can get someone to direct you there...Amsterdam is such a beautiful place too - one of my fav cities...

played to wonderful audiences in Antwerpen and Utrecht. Tonight we're at the Bimhuis in Amsterdam.

The band is really reaching a whole new level. This is our second tour now adn it's gelling incredibly well.
