I thought it would be nice to see a collection of LP inspired (or not) singlecut guitars that are NOT Gibsons. I'll start...

Holy smokes, some beautiful guitars on this thread. Those gloss finishes really bring out the wood grain. I originally had my heart set on a gloss finish for my PRS, but I'm a satin neck guy and can't deal with a thick, goopy layer of gloss on the neck, so I went with the Satin for playability over looks. If they made one with a gloss body and satin neck, I'd be all over it.

Easy enough to make the neck a satin finish...;)

Here's a custom Les Paul that I had made by Lee Garver over 10 years ago - GMW Guitar Works. It currently has Lollar Imperials, which I like a lot. Two volume controls - push/pull for series/parallel. I recently had it refret with SS frets by Michael Tuttle of BestFrets.com. It has an Aluminum Stop Tailpiece too. I also recently found out that Ron Thorn did the Rose inlay on the head stock - he recognized it from a previous pic I posted.

Here's a pic of "The Barn Guitar" that I built for Brad Whitford (Aerosmith). The top is taken from an old seat from the site of The Barn Nightclub in N.H. (closed for 35 years now) where Aerosmith got thier start as kids. All of the graffitti, dents, etc are original to the wood as I found it:

- Cool amp and great looking guitar!
Thanks for the comments. The amp uses a solid pine 2x10 conversion cab I found on the Allen Amps site. I installed higher rated Weber speakers and then changed out the numbered knobs for these, which I prefer. The amp is pretty compact, sounds great, and looks unique. I guess I'm not a slave to tradition.
