I've been eying the Reverend Daredevil and Roundhouse. I don't have a Reverend dealer near me but I am super curious. I'll check them out at NAMM in January but I am wondering if anyone here is playing them and can chime in.:huh

I have a reverend volcano. It's replaced my '01 SC as my #1. I had a gig on saturday and didn't touch the SC at all. Incredible value for the money.

I have a sunburst, dot neck, Manta Ray with humbuckers.

Fantastic guitar!!! I highly recomend it. I have played the Dare Devil and Round House too. I love these for the money, VERY hard to beat. And almost every one I pick up I like. I only played one that I didn't care for.

On a related note, anyone have feedback about the korina warhawks?

I have a Korina Warhawk II...amazing guitar...only thing I did was replaced the pickups with Novaks..was good before...now it sounds even better,,,sounds so much better than my SG....and it balances better and is lighter...sustains better...

If they weren't all short-scale, I'd give 'em a look.

Hi Jaycee....I own a bunch of guitars...a 58 LP reissue, a real nice sg, a few custom Warmoth guitars and double neck...a custom made Stambaugh electric ect....the point I'm trying to make is that the Reverend Warhawk is as good or better [subjective] than anything I own or have ever owned...including many vintage guitars I've owned in the past...It's that good...the design is unique...the bridge pickup is in the right place..unlike many Gibson's where the bridge pickup is to close to the bridge...and the wood is just killer sounding,,,,the neck is fat, but not to fat...between a 59 and 60 lp neck,,,great frets, and a cool bass and treble control...and it weighs less than my SG...It's truly worth 2 or 3X what they sell for....and most importantly, the guitar has soul.......and is really comfortable.....Just my 2 cents....good luck:AOK

The rev set necks have my interest as well, but like the OP, no dealers near me. I'm really interested in the roundhouse rt, but I have not heard from anyone who has tried it.

++'s here, Mantaray290/Green. Great axe. Great playability, and sound. Love the P90's, and the bass contour knob. Nice, nice, nice.

I'm quite interested in the Pete Anderson model, which is still months away from release:

Reportedly will come with a Bigsby instead of a Les Trem as pictured.

what will this cost?

edit: i just called the company and talked to some dude named Joe. Joe saysa street price will be between $$1,000-1,200 with a case and a bigsby. no plans for a three pickup model yet. i haven't played a Reverend I liked yet, but maybe this will be it.

If his last name was Naylor, that dude named Joe is the president of the company.

Are you sure that's the street price? Mr. Naylor usually gives two prices - one for retail, one for estimated street, because Reverend doesn't sell guitars themselves - their dealers do.

I pulled the trigger on a blue Warhawk II HB the other day. Can't wait to get it. This will be my first Reverend (and not my last, I'm sure!).

A question for you folks that have, or are, playing Manta Rays, how close can you get to a 335 sound? I realize it more like a chambered body but
I've been eyeing it as a reasonably priced, more comfortable, alternative to a 335.
