Don't know if anyone here has experience with a Rhodes, but a friend of mine just received a mint condition amazing Mark I Suitcase Eighty-Eight.

Trouble is, no control of the vibrato, volume or tone sliders on the panel. It's getting 15 volts of power to the control board and nothing inside appears damaged or loose.

Anyone?

Did you check the transistors? Something in there has to be broken or loose.

I just scored a 75 and am having it tuned up and CLA's. But I found this site online that might be of interest....

Hey thanks guys.

Yeah I'm on the Fender Rhodes forum inquiring about my situation.

Gonna have to trace out my signal til I find it.

Was hoping it might be one of those "That happened to me to..." posts.

That stuff is mostly transistor operated, so if a transistor goes, it can get stuck in the on or the off position, and will not work. It would the next thing to check.
