Looks Like Richie's using Komets!

So I was watching this new HD music channel and a Bon Jovi video come up. I'm normally not a huge fan but I hear Richie's got some nice gear (Diezel and Divided by 13 amps) So, low and behold, it looks like he's running TWO Komet 60's! Richie seems to just cycle through boutique stuff. Seems like even the rich and famous aren't immune to a little GAS!!

It' called Palladia. It used to be just MHD but I guess they thought Palladia sounded better.

As I understand it, the Concorde was designed for him...? I think.... he wanted an EL34 based amp and Ken designed the amp with him in mind. I'm sure Hogy or Mike can clarify

That would be cool! They looked like 60's to me as they where in the typical colored "V" head cab and had silver "front plates", but that doesn't mean their 60's. When your Richie S. you have the option to make it look like whatever you want!

I thought he was using K80's and that amp was designed for him (limited to a run of 20 amps I believe). I think that is what he was using on "Have a nice day." You can see it in the video.

Many years ago Richie was doing some overdubs at a studio in the Philly suburbs and the producer called my buddy to bring his Soldano over (this was way before Soldano's were really well known) to the session. So my buddy sets up the rig, gets some great tones and goes into the control room. Richie without even trying the tone, grabs his guitar, plugs it into a DS1 and then into the amp. He's not really much of a tone-meister regardless of the fact that he uses so much cool gear. And if you really think about it, his tones are sorta meh.
