The reverb on my Reverend Kingsnake has stopped working. Now, I don't know if that is such a bad thing. When I turn up the reverb the sound is "thicker" and little more gain is added. It is unlike just adding more gain from the "Gain" knob. It really sounds nice! A little bit of hum noise is also added when turning the reverb up, but no reverb.
HOW CAN I FIX THE REVERB AND HAVE THE EXTRA THICK GAIN!?
And most important, will this hurt my amp running as is?
Also...when I pull the two cords from the reverb tank one of them will make noise when I touch the end. The same type of noise as when you touch the end of a plugged in guitar cord. I assume that this means there is signal coming back into the amp from the tank. To me this would mean that the problem is somewhere on the input side of the tank?
