I use a borrowed 90's Blues Deluxe for a non-pedal steel guitar gig at a rowdy honky tonk last night (Nunica Bar and Grocery Store). I noticed later in the night the jewel light was fading in and out, thankfully the amp was working the whole time. Is this is a power issue or is the jewel burning out?

More than likely the bulb is loose in the socket.Unscrew the jewel and re-seat the bulb.

I had a similar problem with a customer's HRD a few weeks ago and the lamp assembly had an intermittent short. That could have been a lot worse as few heater circuits are fused.

The stock Fender light assembly sucks - upgrade to a solid one. I replaced the one in my Deluxe with a better one out of a dead Epiphone amp.

I just had that happen to my Supersonic head. Still under warranty, maybe I'll bring her in.

That looks fun as hell.
So does the chick with the bass.
(hope I'm not stepping on any toes here...)
