"The Dirty Mac" from the Great Rock and Roll Circus. I still have the old vinyl bootleg. Fun stuff! It was a different time and place than today, that's for sure.

Great stuff, Keith was a good looking kid and Clapton was pretty stoned.
Yoko creepin' around is pretty strange though...:bong:bong:bong:bong:bong:bong

You think that was strange? You should hear the song they played after that with Yoko on, err, vocals.:barf:huh

Clapton's wearing the sweater his grandma/mom made for him.

A friend used to have a huge poster of the Dirty Mac. I wish I could find one of those.

Sorry, I've never been too crazy about that clip.

I've heard blues done a lot better.

Just seems to me like Lennon goofing off.

The awesomeness of the Dirty Mac aside, The Who owned that whole evening with "A Quick One..." and a very early Jethro Tull opens it all up with a really swampy "Song for Jeffrey" featuring Tony Iommi on gtr. The Stones' "Can't Always Get..." is one of the better ones on record too.

Kind of besides the point. This isn't blues even if it is a blues form and nods it's head to the genre. It was part of a rock and roll album that put their spin on a bunch of different genres.

Interestingly, although I have a lot of respect for Ringo and think he is vastly underrated for his ability to play to the song, Mitch really tightens this song up and makes if groove even more.

I would have to disagree,Taj Mahal was my favorite.

Something funky happens at the end there, like John was ready to end it and Mitch and Keith kept going. Good recovery though...
