Analog Audio works is proud to announce the Anklebiter. The Anklebiter is a 4 watt, hand wired, all tube guitar amp head that was designed with recording in mind. The amp built and tested by Jim Nickelson of Lil' Dawg amps, and the cabinets are hand made here in Akron, Ohio by a gentleman named Dave Parker. The Anklebiter has the following features:

12AX7, 12AY7, or 5751 preamplifier tube (customer choice)
6V6 power tube
5Y3, 5V4, or 5AR4 rectifier tubes (customer choice)
Tube or Weber Copper Cap Solid State rectifier as a no cost option
Mercury Magnetics Trasnformers
Two controls: Volume knob and negative feedback switch
Dual 4 ohm outputs
Line level output
Solid cherry cabinet with hand rubbed laquer finish
Made in the USA!

I've played several early editions of this amp and it is an amazing little screamer with great dynamics and touch sensitivity. I'll be playing some demo clips for Dave (my brother) to put up on the Analog Audio Works site, so please let me know if anyone wants to hear it with a specific guitar or cab and we'll see what we can do.
