I did some post processing on them using histogram equalization to give them a "look". I wasn't planning on shooting something like this and only had one lens and my body.

Looks like a fun day out. Thanks for sharing the photos (great as always). That Cobra looks sweet, but so do so many of the others.

good lord, they made a million of those pieces of shit? Amazing how few of them are left anymore.

Probably the only reason why that one is still around is because it was a significant production milestone, and the guy who bought it stored it since it was purchased.

A million vegas. The horror, the horror.

Great pics, btw, thanks ... a million. :D

I don't know, but there was a fire extinquisher right under the crank that I got rid of, so I'm guessing it has some issues.

Good shots dood!

All the pics on page one have an almost sepia flavor or touch to them, are you running some kind of weird filter or post processing to get that effect? Looks good whatever ya did.

Here is what my camera pumps out with just a plain ol UV filter ( sunny day )

The problem I have with taking pics at car shows is, I set up for the shot and then some people walk in front of me before I get the shot and then stand and then talk about the history of the automobile for the next half hour while standing in the way :messedup ...... it never fails :D

You see the way your porsche shot looks, the sky is white and the car has a hazy look to it?

That's what I was getting today because of the bright overcast. Since I didn't have any filters at all , I decided to do some histogram equalization and levels adjustments to make them pop a little more and give them a different look.

Car shows are defiitelty a tough shoot for many reasons.

I see. I was fighting glare from the sun all day too.... I may have to check out something other than Nikons lame bare bones Picture Project. What program do you use, or is this in camera editing?

I know photo shop has a few good tools..... I've had ok luck with them.

Great shots!! I love that AC Cobra! :drink

Ah HA!!!

I should have read the thread first!! :boxer:boxer Good shots! It almost looks like you are looking at framed pics in a museum.

I love that Porsche and AC Cobra! :drink

I liked that it wasn't just American Muscle cars, there was a nice variety of stuff. Got a lot more shots, but these are pretty representative of what was there.

I had to laugh when I saw the window sticker on the Vega. It came from Lemoyne, Pa., that's the town next to me, 5 minutes away~
But my fav was that gorgeous red Ford PickUp with the white grill
Where was the show Bones? I see lots of N.Y. plates

Man this 71 Chevelle brings back so many memories. I had a 71 Malibu 350, with factory buckets and console. It was originally silver with black top, but it had been repainted red w/ the black SS stripes and badges when I had it. I loved owning that car. Thanks for bringing back some great memories!:D

Isn't that 'Mater from "Cars" in his younger years?

Awesome photos! I'll take "99" as well. The Austin Healy looked good though. My Dad had one of those before I came along. He upgraded to an E-type when I was born. I still remember that car.

Nice shots, guys...thanks for the thread, Bones.

Me...I'll take that old Ford pickup.

Me and the two doggies in front...

Headin' to town on an October Saturday afternoon to turn some heads, and get some apples and produce from the local Farmer's Market.

Sounds like a plan to me.

Yeah sounds about right. These old farms out here have lots of cabs on frames with no beds, because they were converted to flatbeds for farm work, they are always coming up for sale and I wish i knew more DIY stuff about doing restoration work.
