Who caught the Exp Hendrix Tribute last night in Boston?

Great show. Who knew Brad Whitford would have the best tone of the bunch. He was amazing. His tone rivaled and in some ways surpassed even EJ's. Everyone else sound like mosquito tone next to Brad.

Great show, great tribute. Mitch Mitcheli, Billy Cox, wow :bow

Hey Reverb,

Yeah, I was there, mainly to see EJ. Liked his part the best. Buddy Guy was great, as always. Brad Whitford played and sounded really good. I heard a lot of good tones.

I love, love, love guitar, and Hendrix, although I felt there was a bit too much "guitar wanking" going on, but maybe that was just me. Overall, it was really good.

all best,
James

I was there, pretty close to the stacks on the right, and my ears are still ringing from Buddy's trebly guitar. Brad was cool, and I had never seen any of the others live before. I was impressed by Lang and KWS, but EJ had that special something- what was that jazzy little jam when he was doing some spacey stuff with Mitch and Bobby?

I thought EJ shined on that little Jazz Jam. Not sure where that came from but I enjoyed it, very creative playing and a different style than I have heard from EJ.
Great tones too.

Brad Whitford has always been a sleeper. I saw Aerosmith do an unanounced all blues show back in 1994 at the HOB New Orleans and he WIPED THE FLOOR with Joe, killed him.
