Help Please i need a pup expert

i just purchased an erickson strat style neck thru guitar and i'm trying to figure out what pups are in it(the previous owner didn't know) there are solid black covers on them with a logo in the middle that is a white square with a U in the middle of it does anyone know what brand these might be???

IIRC they were supposed to have flat frequency response. I think the concept at the time, several years ago, was that you could use them with programmable EQs to mimic the tones of various guitars.

+ 1 on Ultrasonic. I had 2 of them in the neck and middle position and a Seymour Duncan Sreamon Demon in ash body maple neck Warmoth hard tail Strat. I actually liked them quite a bit!

while were on the subject i have a question about EMG pups,i have them in my ESP Horizon and they just seem quiet can i add another 9v battery in series to brighten them up or will i risk damage to the electronics...
