Can someone pls explain "use MS Live for 30% off"?

I've seen this on a number of ebay listings and am wondering if it is still in effect and if so what the heck is it and how do I take advantage of it?

Log on to live.com and search for a item. If the promotion is active at that time it will pull up sites that sell what you're searching for, primarily on Ebay with a buy it now price. I've seen discounts from 10% to 30% depending on when I've searched. It seems like Microsoft is trying to give Google some competition. There are maximuim discounts and I believe 6 times is your limit. You receive cashback in 60 days.

Do a ebay search first then if you find it on a "buy it now" go back and search with that exact listing on Live.com

the max discount at ebay is $200 per item and they increased the limit to 12x. You can bundle it with the 10% off ebay coupon if you have one. You also need live.com, ebay and paypal accounts.

I've used it twice so far & have a few hundred dollars waiting to clear (they hold it for 60 days).

The signup process was simple, though I have noticed an increase in spam to my yahoo account that I used for the program.

Before you do anything, you need a ebay account, paypal account, and live.com cashback account (easy to set up if you already use hotmail).

Instructions:
1. Go to live.com and type the word - edirol
You will see a grey box at the top that says www.ebay.com, Live Search cashback, 30% off.
2. If you don't see the grey box, hit the green magnifying glass icon to run the search again. You may have to do it a couple times to have it come up.
3. When you get the box to come up, click on 'Live Search cashback' and that will take you to ebay.
You will see edirol items for sale.
4. You can now do a search for anything you want.
To see if you can get 30% up to $200 off, click on an item and click the buy it now button to get to the second screen. If there is cashback, it will show the amount. Some items have no cashback. Do not confirm the amount in this screen if you don't want to buy the item.
I think you have a set amount of time to buy something on ebay once you run the search on live.com

5. After you buy an item with buy it now, use paypal to pay. It will show the cashback amount.
6. Go to my ebay, and hit messages. Open the email and confirm cashback.
7. You can access the cashback amount after 60 days.

you have to open a cash back account that takes a few minutes. I think that part does not get mentioned . Because I have heard about this and could not get it . You hvae to sign up which I did, kind of a pain we will see if it worth it , looks like it is though
