One day after the Red Sox bow out, the Pats and Matt Cassell win a game that everyone picked them to lose. Helped that Denver played like crap but a win is a win. Let's hope this experience goes a long way for Cassell towards the end of the season.

That was a costly game though. Sam Morris got hurt and Rodney's career is over. Yuck. That new running back Green-Ellis looked pretty good, fwiw. It was nice to watch, but Denver's D sucks. Really can't draw too many conclusions from last night. It was good to see Cassel make some plays. He still got sacked, what, 6 times?

I was down in my fantasy league with him the denver kicker and me Eddie Royal. Somehow royal got me enough yards to win, and the kicker was handcuffed to just one point. Even one field goal would have cost me the game. Thank you, NE defense!

What happened to Denver last nite?
They looked like the Colts, and the Cowboys this past weekend.
All these good teams having games like THAT...boggles my mind.
Not so much NE as Denver simply not showing up was how I saw it.
Shanahan said in the pre-game interview that his first priority was to
not turn over the football and have no costly penalties.
Cassel still has a LONG way to go, IMO.
So does Cutler.

The win over Denver is short term comfort. The Pats will be violently shaken next week when the Rams come a callin.

I needed 3.25 points to win my league game...guess who I had? Yep...Prater (Denver kicker). ...damn it.

Go ahead, salve your fears by ignoring my bold prediction. The Rams are preparing for a smashing in NE.:D

I shut the TV off at halftime. Granted, I'm not much of a sports fan in general, but that was painful to watch...

In general...west coast teams that travel to the east coast play really badly. Even mid-western teams often play like crap on the east coast. The reverse isn't nearly as true...east coast teams can go west and play fine.

That's because the east coast teams are superior.

the donks played like crap. Good for matt cassel. I saw him make a few good plays in that game. No he's not a brady, but he did enough to lead his team to a victory.

I don't think Cutler is for real. he played against some horrible pass defenses this year and all of a sudden people are thinking he's the next brady.

The donk's defense is a joke. world's fastest linebackers my ass. The way they tackle I say they should just be called the world's slowest DBs.
