The song is cool, I like it. It sounds like it would fit right in with what get's played on the Country radio out here.
Good job!

Thanks guys!!
Keep the feedback comin! My background is more blus/southern rock/ and pop... (i know... all over the place)
Ive really been workin hard on the whole country sound and the fluidity of the melodies and leads. Its an art and its been alot of fun and super challenging at the same time.
Oh and the tone on the solo is through the bridge pup (curtis novak) of my rocketfire t-type.... fender blues deluxe reissue....keeley compressor and keeley blues driver.
Thanks again for the encouragement guys! Let me know what you think I need to work on as well... The country thing is a work in progress for me.

I really liked it. Very mainstream country. Good singer, great lyric. Guitar tone is very good. Solo and fills are tasteful and fit the song well. Love the gritty fiddle and the organ. Sounds like it could easily get picked up for rotation.

The kick drum sounds slappy and thuddy, in a modern way.
I'm not down with the panning of the guitars. The single-notey, solo, twangy guitar seems to be right up the middle and fights for space with the vocal.
Needs more acoustic guitar. It needs the glue that only a nicely played strumming acoustic guitar track can provide.
I LOVE hammond organ but it sounds out of place on this track, and it's too full-range AND too clean. If I were gonna use an organ on this I would probably chosen something quirky that wouldn't normally be associated with this genre, maybe a farfisa or something.
The bass could be slightly louder and the part played with more authority, to drive the rhythm just a little more.
Pare down the number of vocal harmonies but make them louder, and panned to like six minutes after the hour.
The drums are quite pedestrian and if they had been slightly snappier, had some more rhythmic movement it would have brought the bounce I think it needs. It's a good tempo, bpm-wise, but it feels dragging. Plodding.
Nice guitar solo, good tone although I think your exit should have either been stronger or faded out faster. Actually the dirty fiddle that comes in on the second half came in too slow so the end of your solo just sorta hung there, took away any drama you brought, made it sound like it petered out.
