It snowed here a little on Sunday, but more so on Monday. Beautiful day today, though.

Well it's supposed to be near 60 on Saturday. Typical Michigan stuff.

I hear it snowed a bit in NW Indiana.
Fortunately, we're not there.
This is a photo I took this morning.

A few light flurries, nothing stuck. Not a bad thing to me, after last winter. Still, I usually love a first snow, especially if it's those big fat fluffy slow falling flakes, like in a kid's story book. Those are great until I realize I have to clear the drive LOL

I look forward to snow cover as the end of tick season. There is nothing we can do but continue to check daily and pull off the ones we find.
No "preventative" works. At all. However, there is one product, a parasite dust made primarily of neem, that kills them quickly by dehydrating them. But, it is a huge battle in the spring and fall.

mid 30s, windy rain/snow mix. 2 inches of nasty slush on the ground here in NJ.

We were in the high 50's with 25mph winds today in South Carolina. That's about 15 degrees colder than normal. We may get frost tonight. That is a big deal down here, especially this time of year. I'm freezing right now in the house since we haven't turned on the heat yet. Tonight is the night.

Hmmmm
Sonoran Desert Museum?
Tucson City park?
Old Tucson?
Saguaro National Monument?
I love driving through that part of Tucson. I always take our visitors there, especially those on their first trip.
Drive up to Mount Lemmon if you get a chance. Some great scenery up there as well.
Woot!
Still running around in shirt sleeves in my part of AZ, even at night.

We're getting pounded here tonight with snow and high winds. It's not even Halloween yet for cryin' out loud!
