Firefox auto fill question

Firefox used to fill in my passwords automatically, once it asked if I wanted it to remember them. Now it's not doing that on sites where it used to. I think I have all the right options checked (not rocket science). Anyone have any clues about this? Thanks.

for me some sites are filled in. some fill in the password when I enter the user name. some don't remember.

I think it's how the sites are coded more than a firefox issue.

have you recently installed a new version? Cause when I installed a newer version it changed all my settings.

I'm having exactly the same issues. Problem is that it's my banks that have decided (or Firefox has decided) not to save the 16 digit numbers. And since I don't know them all off by heart, every time I need to access one of my accounts, I have to get out the cards.

I've tried many different ways to make it save the numbers and it simply won't (it used to save them all).

I decided to put them in a password protected word document on my desktop. It's not as good but it's easy to access.
