I have an early 70's princeton reverb that I would like to slow the tremolo speed down on. I won't be doing the work i just need some instructions to tell the amp tech. Thanks.

There are three caps in the trem circuit: Two .01's and a .02. You can slow the trem speed down by replacing the .01's with .02's.

Hopefully the tech already knows this.

You only have to change one of the .01's to .02 to slow down the trem :)

It depends.Sometimes a cap labelled .02uf isn't actually .02uf.
You need a capacitance meter that reads caps fairly accurately to get the desired results,or a patient tech who can sub in a couple and tune it to taste.

I've done several of these mods and don't have a capacitance meter. Patience isn't required, just sub the .01's for .02's.
