Keep in mind that a car fax or an Autocheck only reports on accidents that have been reported to the Police or possible had an insurance claim on it. If the owner fixed it at his own expense it wouldn't show up on the report.

I believe that using your personal account to check cars for other people is a violation of the account terms. Why mooch off of someone else simply so you don't have to pay for something? I couldn't care less, but some people are sticklers for that.
