No kidding on the partscasters. I'm embarrassed to think about my progress after reading that.
That's just incredible! I've always heard about folks building something like a boat in their basement that they had to excavate to get out, but never a car. Crazy!

A guy I went to school with built a 23T Bucket in his basement, but then disassembled it to take it up the stairs and outside to reassemble it when it was finished.
I think this guy went a little farther.:huh

For the last 2 weeks the shop has been fully dedicated to the construction & painting of Halloween costumes.
One kid is a TWIX bar, the other is a PEZ dispenser. Ah, the things you can do with cardboard, glue, clamps & paint!

Alas, finding the time when you're not already tired from doing everything else that life demands.... I've got an upgrade project for my SG that's been waiting for almost two weeks, maybe I'll work it in on Saturday.

He's just one really dedicated guy, that's awesome. I remember when I was a little kid I'd ride my bike past a neighbor's house and he'd always be working on this airplane, like a real single engine prop plane. He finished it, and flys it al the time now.

We don't have basements in 98% of the houses here. Guess that's why I never have anywhere to work on my projects. They NEVER get done!
Everyone uses their garages for junk storage and projects, but I insist on keeping cars in mine. Go figure!

you've got to be shitting me? I read the article, thinking "well, I hope his basement has a ground level door.
And it did not!?!
WTF!!!
If you're going to go through that much trouble to get the f'ing car out of the basement, why close the hole back up?
Anyway, at least having a Cleveland 351 will make the car considerably more reliable than the real deal. Keeping a live-in Italian mechanic is so darn expensive these days.
But damn this guy for making me feel like a piker. For me, changing my strings is a significant achievement. :bkw

I wonder if lambo will come after him since he used their decal on his headstock?
