Well there is a possibility that I may change the name of my Lush pedal. For those who don't know, it's a really great analog stereo chorus based on the old Boss DC-2 Dimension C circuit. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure why but I do like Dublin and if not for the Montana connotation I like Blue Sky as well.
Great idea's so far, keep um coming.

well that kind of brings up the possibiity for the name change, I really like the name but there is someone else who has a pedal that rhymes with mine and ..... long story short it may be better to change the name. I appreciate all the suggestions so far.

Does it just rhyme with Lush or does it have an added letter in front? :dunno

I think Lush is a perfect name for a chorus pedal, and wouldn't worry about the rhyming thing. Sounds silly to me...but what do I know! :)
Call it Slush!

I think the whole thing is pretty silly as well but the other manfactuerer thinks that I am infringing on their trademark with my current name, even thouh I don't think I am infringing and neither does my attorney, it might be better to change the name rather than get into some legal dispute.

Ridiculous that you have to go through this, but I totally understand taking the safe way out. How about:
Shimmer

Thanks man.
Really sweet looking pedal though, "lush" or not.

Shimmer has potential - what does everyone think about "Deep Blue Sea"?
I would replace the current word on the pedal with
青々
and you can guess what it means...
Also somewhere on the pedal at least for a small run would be the inscription
進退両難
which means "Finding oneself between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea"

Currenty in the top slots in no particular order.
Dublin
Grace
Shimmer
Blue Sea
I think all the current inventory is spoken for except for #21, which will be the last. In the meantime I will continue to make the pedal by special order. During the time that I am choosing a new name the following will be on the face.
進退両難
Which means "Finding oneself between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea"

Lush is a great name.......
Lush is a great name, it is currently used by Lush Guitars. They have had the trademark for a while and they are planning on coming out with a pedal.
The original company that claimed infringement was trying to take the name from me. Since Lush guitars owns the trademark, it is doubtful that the other company will ever be able to use the name either.

OK how about "Seriphs Giggle", anyway good luck w/ your great pedal.
I'm sure you'll be fine whatever you call it.

Call it what it is--Fromel Chorus. Use the cool Kanji to give it "character" (pun intended) and visual style. NO ONE can stop you from using your name. From all accounts its a great pedal. Build equity in your name as the brand. Then, if you want, develop a logo that you can also "TM" that gives a unique visual ID to the name.
The Fromel Chrous...it flows trippingly off the tongue. In fact ...IT RAWKS.

Great idea...or maybe backwards: The Lemorf Chorus. :)
There's another pedal already called: Sea Blue EQ, so that may an an issue.

Hello!!
As a proud owner of #2, i fondly refer to your pedal as "Between the Devil & the Deep Blue Sea", which is what you wrote inside...
The name, if you should keep it as such, will be a catchy name that stirs attention. It's a wonderful pedal with a suiting name..
that's all.. thank you and great work!!
Cheers!

I would just change the name to the " Hsn7 " all you have to do is turn your LUSH logo upside down and tell them to pound sand.
If you do a tour box with this pedal make sure you plan for a stop down here in Olympia.

I do like that, the name has already been changed to Seraph - perhaps that is what I will call the CE-2 clone I have coming out later this year.
If you are in Olympia let me know if you are headded up to Seattle and you can stop by the shop.
Kind of an afterthought but why did you settle on Seraph? I don't see much correlation to the actual word:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seraph
Although I am a little too analytical (1st 4 letters) about word origins. Good luck anyway. I'll have to check the demos out for your pedals as I've heard your name bandied about on TGP.

No one is really sure what the Seraphim's job is as they are rarely mentioned in ancient texts but tradition has it that the Seraphim have two jobs, one is to bring fire, the other is to sing before God.
I figure if your job is to sing before God you had better sound good.

That's freakin' clever! I like that one. Especially because the story behind it.
Hopefully, the Home Shopping Network on channel 7 won't come after you though ;-)

I laugh every time I see that hsn7 - most likely won't do a tourbox on this one, I can't keep them in stock as it is. I am doing tourboxes on the others to get the ball rolling on those. So far the reviews and sales have been good.
