for all of the musical paths I'd like to pursue. Guitar, bass, mandolin, lap steel, pedal steel, upright bass, synth, etc. And those are just the instruments! On each of those instruments there are entire lifetimes of sounds/genres/styles that I'd like to dive into. It is a big world of music.

It's not just instruments, it's musicians and styles! There are a lot of musicians I'd like to be more active with, but my hands are already too full. Life is good!

I'm the same way. Right now, I'm loaded up writing and playing styles of music that I love. However, there's always something else I want to pursue. I'll sleep when I'm dead I guess!

One lifetime is not enough. Instruments, books, languages, museums, etc.

I don't understand boredom.

I agree. I won't live even close to long enough to get to all the things I want to do.

That's fine with me. Happiness = being anxiously and passionately engaged in something.

Yes!

This is what I've found too. It really doesn't matter how much money you have, the real limiting factor is time. I believe that it's very rare to have enough time to really master more than a couple of things.
