Who made these? I pulled one from a 1974 Challenger and stuck it in V1 of my VHT (I usually keep a grey plate RCA in there). It sounds very, very nice. The high end is beautiful. I don't have a USB cord here, so no pics right now.

I have seen Mullard and Amperex tubes labeled Bogen. Try to see if the tube has a manufacturers code number.

Almost anybody. I have Bogen 12AX7's that are Mullard,RCA,Japanese etc. A detailed picture will tell though. Bob

I'll try to get a pic up tomorrow. The halo and silver coating in the top are slanted, if that's any help.

That would be Valvo (look for etched "D" code on the side of the glass, near the base) or Matsushita (no etched codes).
