I don't know what it's like on TGP as I don't monitor the Emporium (I can't afford that much temptation).... but I've started to see more and more guys offloading some pretty sweet gear on other forums.

The telling thing is that they're having a hard time moving some of it.

It'd be a pretty sad day if I had to unload my #1 to pay the rent. Sadder yet if it sold for less than I'd hoped to get.

emporium has recently seen an influx of cool gear, but buyers are rare these days.

I opened my mail today, and found that an Ethiopian family is sponsoring me for 12 bucks a month.

Thank you, I'll be here all week...try the veal.

All this may be, but it seems that on-line sellers haven't adjusted their prices much. Maybe if you start talking with them, they will, but their lists aren't changing, and I wonder if that reflects either that things ain't as bad as we're told, or that many retailers are hoping to weather the storm.

Either way, I must admit to being a bit uncertain how much to reduce off list in the current environment; don't like to insult a seller with too low an offer, but have to believe that some prices which seem the same as six months ago ought to be real (like 40% at least) soft.
