so, i was just going through my cable's on demand section and in the concert section and I stumbled upon an acoustic hanson performance, I'm not exactly sure what made me start to watch it but I was quite surprised. I actually liked the songs they played and they had amazing harmonies going on, it was wierd. Anyone else heard them lately? I haven't been this surprised about music for a long while, just thought I'd share.

I thought they were fairly talented and they were funny on SNL.

I live in Lansing, Michigan. We have a really great college radio station at Michigan State University who's call letters are WDBM. This is where I go to hear great, new stuff. I heard a song a little bit ago I liked so much, I called the station to find out who it was. Everything about the song was good. Great vocals, really good writing, well played...etc...It was a song called "Great Divide" By Hanson. I am usually a brutal critic when it comes to music, but this, I'd buy.

They're just a lot older now and they've improved drastically. They're more of a straight forward soft rock band now....but they'll never escape the fact that they have to play mmmbop at every show.

Wasn't there a thread a little bit ago where a guy said his girlfriend was dragging him to see Hanson ?


I always felt bad for them & thought they kind of got a bad rap. They were kids playing music for Christ's sake...not a bad way to earn a living, I would think.

Good for them...I'm glad to hear they're doing well, although I agree, there will always be those people that condemn them for MMMM-Bop :rolleyes:
