Question: I know my G-System has the 5 pin DIN connection for MIDI use.
I have a Mesa F-50 that I just got WITHOUT a footswitch. It changes channels via a 5 pin DIN switch.
Finding a replacement pedal is a pain.
Can I use my G-System for channel switching on the Mesa F-50 via the MIDI out??
MIDI experts, I need your help!!
Thanks.

Not an easy question to answer without a schematic of the F-50 and the G-System in front of me. Since I don't have either ( a problem that lots of others share I suspect) I can't help you. If you've got copies of both schematics and can post or email 'em, I'd be glad to take a look and help out.

You'll have to implement a product like RJM's Amp Gizmo to switch your amp's functions with MIDI control. Ron at RJM will most likely have the cable interface for your amp as well.
