Sean Costello Tone

Hey guys does anybody know what amp setup, or other things helped sean costello get his tone besides the p90 pickups. From the videos I've seen he picks with his fingers. Also i was wondering how i could get a similar tone without spending much money(i'm broke). I've got a Strat Plus all stock, blues junior, and a Bad Monkey overdrive. Thanks for any help

You're in luck. I'd say you can get similar tone with what you've got.
Dont even worry about the Bad Monkey.
Keep the Strat on the neck pickup, or neck/middle.
Take your Blues Jr. and crank volume and masters as far as your settings will allow while you have all of the tone knobs set to 0.
Once you've done that bring up the tone knobs slowly until you get the tone you are looking for.
The key is using your fingers and using the volume knob on your guitar to control dynamics.
