I got to sit in with the best drummer in the world

Well ... sort of.

Actually, I sat in for a song or two on guitar and did a bit of vocal harmony on another song but did not actually sit in with Sam Austin.

Some of you know that Sam Austin is a master guitarist and in fact, sat in with Brad Paisley for a version of "Timewarp" which is no piece of cake to play to say the least. The song starts at a tempo of 180 and ends at about 240.

Gary Busey is a character. Next time Buddy Whittington is out here ask him about Busey at one of the Mayall shows at the Canyon Club a few times ago when I was working with Buddy.

Interesting story :) Not as interesting as the Zakk Wylde / Tommy Smothers stuff but interesting.
