Sure enough, hardware problems.
This is the second time I've had to go through this process of submitting a report, waiting for a canned response requesting the information I'd already given them, giving the info again, waiting for the RA#, paying the shipping charges to them and waiting a month or more for them to fix or replace it. Why on earth should it take so freaking many weeks to make the decision to replace the thing?? A student of mine had to wait over two months for them to replace his MIDI controller.
They have wonderful designs, I love their interfaces, but I should know by now that their hardware is eventually going to be problematic.
I will say this in their favor... they stand behind their warranty. The first time they even stood behind it when I was technically a few weeks out.
